The company was founded in 2007 by Kevin Mehra, who saw an opportunity to make high-end wine more accessible by transforming market inefficiencies into better value for wine consumers. Without the overhead of expensive vineyard land or winery facilities, Mehra sought out partnerships with highly rated wineries around the world, and began bottling their wines under his label, making them available at a fraction of the source price.
This unique business model became the foundation for 90+ Cellars, which is now one of the fastest growing wine brands in the country and a top five premium/super premium wine brand in the Northeast. This same model has enabled Latitude to expand its portfolio with a number of additional wine brands, and most recently, spirits brands as well.
